Review: Skeletonwitch - Forever Abomination

Forever Abomination is the fourth full-length release from Ohio’s Skeletonwitch. This album is just metal fun all the way around. It’s a cool mix of thrash and black metal while not taking away from either style too much. The drumming is pounding and driving. The guitarists shred some really great solos and provide lots of chunky rhythm parts to make you want to move. The vocals from singer Chance Garnette are deep and brutal, with occasional raspy screams and low-end death vocals. I really enjoyed this CD front to back, so if you are looking for something to provide a little face-melting, this should be your next purchase.
